Google Antigravity App 2.14.0

Changelog: New Permissions System & Terminal and Git version control for Enterprise

Enterprise and Business accounts can now use the integrated terminal and Git version control in the sidebar. This release also cuts memory use in long conversations and fixes a range of stability and accessibility issues.

Improvements(10)

• Enterprise and Business accounts can now use the integrated terminal and Git version control in the sidebar.
• Conversations with very long histories now load faster and use less memory.
• Removed a redundant scan of your skills, rules, and other customization files that ran on every message, so messages are acknowledged faster.
• Settings, artifacts, and terminals opened in their own tab now load faster and no longer flash an empty container first.
• The agent's temporary scratch files are no longer watched, synced, or shown in the Artifacts panel and Review pane, so they no longer add noise to either.
• Reorganized the conversation menu so Archive and Delete sit together at the bottom behind their own divider, and added Share and Move to Group to the right-click menu.
• The command palette now opens over a dimmed backdrop with enter and exit animations, matching the other dialogs in the app.
• Renamed the global permissions section on the General settings screen to "Global Permissions" and the inherit option in project settings to "Inherit Global", so the names match the screen they point at.
• Pressing the new conversation shortcut on the home screen now toggles between your last-selected project and a standalone conversation instead of staying in standalone mode.
• Updated the Vesper dark theme with lilac and pink accents for keywords and operators, and dimmer comments.

Fixes(18)

• Fixed an issue where opening Settings, an artifact, or a terminal in its own tab could show a blank screen.
• Fixed a crash that could occur when the app failed to read your rule files.
• Fixed a memory leak where finished terminal commands held on to their full output for the rest of the session.
• Fixed an issue where the app could freeze for several seconds after reconnecting following a period of inactivity, which was most noticeable with a large number of conversations.
• Fixed an issue where subagents that had already finished could keep showing as running, which also left follow-up messages queued until restart.
• Fixed an issue where a single transient service error could end a session. Transient errors are now retried with backoff for about twelve minutes.
• Fixed two issues in the @-mention menu: categories now narrow as you type instead of waiting for search results to return, and pressing Tab no longer overwrites text you already typed.
• Fixed an issue where a markdown link pointing at a heading in the same document opened the file viewer at the project root instead of scrolling to that heading.
• Fixed an issue where an escaped dollar sign inside a block math expression prevented the formula from rendering.
• Fixed an issue where URL artifacts pointing at a Google Drive folder offered "Open Preview" as their primary action, even though Drive folders cannot be displayed in the preview pane.
• Fixed an issue where the quota reset time in the model selector was cut off mid-sentence. It now shows a compact duration, with the full text in the tooltip.
• Fixed the minimized side question button in the composer toolbar so it shows how many side questions are minimized instead of reading like a mode selector.
• Fixed duplicate titles and cramped spacing on the license selection screen.
• Fixed an issue where signing in with a personal account after using a business account failed with a project access error.
• Fixed an issue where git hooks or global git configuration on your machine could stop the app from saving its internal checkpoints.
• Fixed screen reader support for queued messages: queueing a message is now announced along with the queue length and the available actions, and the Send now, Edit, and Delete buttons are labelled.
• Fixed screen reader announcements for side questions, which could be repeated or dropped when browsing question history or when an answer arrived in the background.
• Fixed an issue where the agent produced Mermaid diagram types the app cannot render, such as Gantt charts and timelines.
