Changelog: In-IDE feedback reporting with diagnostic logs, resilient auto-updates with offline fallback, and Windows file-lock recovery
Introduces in-editor feedback and diagnostic log reporting, resilient backend auto-updates with fast-path offline startup, Windows binary upgrade file-lock recovery, and faster secondary panel loading.
Improvements(4)
- Added the Antigravity: Provide Feedback command (antigravity.feedback) and an Antigravity - Settings status bar item to open extension settings and submit feedback or issue reports directly from VS Code.
- Added automatic buffering of extension installation and server operational logs so diagnostic logs can be attached when submitting feedback.
- Improved backend auto-updater reliability with exponential-backoff retries (Retry-After header support), offline fallback to an existing valid binary when network downloads fail, and a 3-second fast-path startup check so unresponsive update servers do not block extension startup.
- Updated the minimum required Antigravity backend version to 1.1.11.
Fixes(2)
- Fixed Windows EPERM and EBUSY file-locking errors during backend binary upgrades by staging running executables aside before replacement, retrying locked file operations with exponential backoff, and cleaning up stale .old binary backups.
- Fixed blank webview screens and reduced latency when opening secondary panels (Settings, Artifacts, and Terminal) by skipping redundant loading-screen rebuilds once the backend server connection is cached.
