Changelog: Native Windows desktop notifications, undo/redo and side-by-side actions for diff reviews, Cloud Workstations authentication, and inline diff stability fixes
Introduces native Windows desktop notifications when unfocused, undo/redo and side-by-side tab actions for diff reviews, interactive authentication in Cloud Workstations and Cloud Shell, and stability fixes for inline diff reviews and language server installation.
Improvements(6)
- Added native Windows toast notifications with direct conversation navigation when the VS Code window is unfocused, with automatic fallback to in-IDE notifications.
- Added undo and redo support (Ctrl+Z / Cmd+Z and Ctrl+Y / Cmd+Shift+Z) for individual and file-level Accept and Reject actions during inline diff reviews, keeping the changes overview bar synchronized.
- Added Accept All and Reject All action buttons to the side-by-side diff editor tab title bar and automatic diff tab opening when starting a review or selecting files from the changes overview with inline diffs disabled (antigravity.enableInlineDiff: false).
- Updated read-only (Resolved) diffs to display the saved Accept or Reject outcome in the tab title and mark rejected changes inline with a Rejected indicator.
- Added an interactive authentication prompt card, pre-flight credential validation, native login terminal workflow, and automatic background token refresh when running in Google Cloud Workstations or Google Cloud Shell.
- Improved language server download and installation error messages to surface specific network failure causes (such as DNS lookup, connection reset, or TLS certificate-trust errors) and actionable certificate remediation guidance.
Fixes(9)
- Fixed release manifest and language server download failures on macOS and corporate networks by falling back to Node's bundled root certificates (and NODE_EXTRA_CA_CERTS) when VS Code's certificate list cannot verify the release host.
- Fixed an issue where VS Code Auto Save could overwrite or prematurely resolve active inline diff reviews by keeping deleted lines out of the saved buffer, prompting to disable Auto Save or switch to side-by-side diffs, and deferring diff renderer changes until active reviews finish.
- Fixed redundant in-IDE completion toast notifications appearing when the Antigravity chat panel is already open and displaying the active conversation.
- Fixed inline diff review handling so individual hunk Accept and Reject decisions are preserved when saving (Ctrl+S / Cmd+S), clicking Accept all or Reject all, closing tabs with or without saving, or starting the next chat turn.
- Fixed inline diff review lifecycle issues to preserve exact end-of-file bytes and newlines, keep pending reviews editable across window reloads and file renames, and prevent stale creation diffs from overwriting user-modified files.
- Fixed clicking Review or a file in the chat and review panes so past turns without an active review open as read-only diffs without reopening or auto-accepting other files' pending reviews, and normalized file URIs on Windows.
- Fixed UI lag in the inline diff changes toolbar and unresponsive Accept all actions when opening workspaces inside large or home-directory Git repositories.
- Fixed clicking chat file links with #L line or line-range fragments (such as #L42 or #L10-L20) opening duplicate editor tabs instead of focusing the existing workspace file and selecting the target lines.
- Updated in-IDE feedback reports to include the installed Antigravity extension version and omit local binary filesystem paths.
